Southwest Urban Forestry Initiative is a project developed by Seeds of Wisdom,LLC's principal designer Athena Beshur.  The focus of the project is to bring native plants into the urban setting, to create a more forested city.  From an urban forestry perspective, the plants we grow in our private gardens collectively provide for city wide canopy cover, cleaner air, healthier communities.  They provide food. They prevent erosion. With the Southwest Urban Forestry Initiative, they also are built with resiliance of native plants and aesthetics of the urban setting. Through this initiative, design rates are discounted.
